This was my third year as a moderator at the Gaithersburg Book Festival, which is a popular and energizing annual event. What an absolute pleasure chatting with Zeeva Bukai (pictured right) and Elaine Neil Orr (pictured left) about their beautiful books. Thanks to all who attended our panel and to the festival organizers for inviting me to participate. In addition, I enjoyed hanging out with the Washington Writers’ Publishing House team at their table and with the Washington Independent Review of Books, (I serve on the boards of these awesome nonprofits). I also caught up with friends. And I couldn’t let the day end without adding to my pile of “to be read” books at the used book sale tent!
